KEYAH Construction
Facing new competition from larger general contractors whose own clients have dried up in the economic meltdown, this small but viable American Indian-owned contractor servicing 100% of the Native American community has come under mounting pressure to win new projects and clients.
The company’s CEO, Harry Singer, hired MHG to develop a better presentation package in which a more sophisticated image and presentation would lead to greater opportunities to be interview for work. When we learned the differentiation that would make KEYAH Construction a better choice – deep identification of cultural identity – MHG asked its design team to create a formal design template to house all content of existing and future proposals.
The template included:
- A unique cover page, with powerful-yet-subtle images that conveyed reliability and cultural connectedness
- A better content flow for ease of reading
- Rework of important graphics, such as the chart of personnel
- A business identity system, subtly conveyed in the cover and follow-up pages where text and images would come alive and invite readership.
